Bronze, pewter

This work is ongoing and circles around casts of small things. In this first iteration I cast almonds and peach pits, both members of the prunus family. Inspired by the amygdala (latin word for almond), a small almond shape part of the brain which plays a big role in emotional response, particularly to things like fear, but also memory consolidation and the brain's response to laughter. Overall I was thinking about the big weight of small things.
